Privacy Policy

All audio analysis is performed locally on your device. No audio data is ever recorded, stored, or sent to any server. Loudmeter only reads signal levels — it cannot capture or reproduce audio content.

Clip alert notifications are generated and displayed entirely locally by macOS. No notification content or metadata leaves your device.

Loudmeter contains no analytics, crash reporting, telemetry, or any form of usage tracking. There are no SDKs, no network requests, and no third-party services embedded in the app.

Your settings — launch at login preference, chosen presets, menu bar visibility options — are stored locally using macOS UserDefaults. This data never leaves your Mac.

Loudmeter does not request microphone access, camera access, location, contacts, or any other sensitive permission.
